Emwyn Kenothed was born to a seamstress and a wagonloader, raised in a small town outside of Caemlyn. As a young girl, she dreamed of being Aes Sedai, but had not a single spark of channelling in her. Discouraged, she ran away on a merchant's wagon, was found, and tossed off in the middle of Andor a week later. Knowing which road to take back home and having only a belt knife that she had stolen from her brother, she started back to Caemlyn, keeping well away from the road to ensure she got home in one piece. Along the way, she learned how to hunt small animals and became skilled at knives and hiding. Being a small 17 year old child, she was able to climb trees and stalk silently, tracking possible threats to herself. By the time she got home, she passed up Caemlyn in hopes that she could make it to Tar Valon to offer her services to the Warders before she was picked up or killed. She made it there successfully, enjoying the outdoors and the throb of feet at the end of the day. She does not mind being alone or fighting opponents larger and more trained than her, though the quarterstaff is now her weapon of choice, having seen large, trained men beaten by mere boys with sticks and a little knowledge. Her belt knife never leaves her side, however, and she hopes to find a sword light enough for her to learn the forms, hopefully under a Warder who can also teach her which weapons would be most appropriate for her to wield. She hopes one day to become a Gaidin (Gaidar?) to an Aes Sedai who will need a clever mind and undying loyalty. She presents herself to you, knowing fully her limitations and willing to forsake all oaths except the one she bears to serve the Light and protect the honour of Aes Sedai.
