Ethalion was born in the city of Caemlyn.He had one sister who was called Lilith When the whole family of Trelchi was on a trip to Amadicia, his parents was both hung as darkfriends by the Children of Light when Ethalion was about 8 years old. He and his sister where from then forced to live on by their own. When Ethalion was 11 and his sister 17 an Aes Sedai came to the city and saw that Lilith could channel. The Aes Sedai brought Lilith to the White Tower and Ethalion was now alone at the city of Caemlyn. It was be then he became a thief. When he couldn?t take any legal works he started with the illegal. He became a thief and he was good at it. He was quick, both in the mind and with the fingers. When he couldn?t run away from something then he talked himself out of it. He lived a quite job life at pickpocketing other people and sometimes he broke into someones house. When he was about 15 he became an assassin. Stealing pickpockets couldn?t feed him anymore so he needed something else to live on. He became very good with the dagger and developed some very good reflexes in this way. When a noble lady came to the city once, Ethalion ?Shadowhand? as he was called, was hired to assassinate this lady. His employer said that he needed help at this mission so Ethalion hired some thugs from the streets to help him. When the lady walked a dark street one night Ethalion and the thugs attacked her. What they hadn?t seen was that there had been one man that was following her. He cut down all the thugs like nothing. The Warder laid the blade over Ethalion?s throat and asked who hired him for this assassination. Ethalion didn?t listened but decided that he was going to be a Warder. The Warder showed mercy and let Ethalion live. He thought about why the Warder let him live but he got no answers. The Warder and the Aes Sedai had disappeared before he could ask the man why. Ethalion started his travel to the Tower the day after with two thoughts in his mind; he was going to be a Blademaster and maybe he would see his sister again.
